Contacts database fields
DATA hosts all your email and SMS contacts. By default, the database provides 5 system fields and allows you to add 32 custom fields.
The number of custom fields can be increased to 180 maximum on demand, per table (contacts, products, receipts & cart, stores).
Splio systems fields are as follows:
- Email address (mandatory)
- Cellphone number
- First name
- Last name
* An email address or cellphone number is mandatory to import a contact.
Create custom fields
To create custom fields, you can either create them when uploading a new file, or you can create them directly from the Fields section of DATA. Be careful when you create a new custom field that you are limited in the number of characters. (255 non UTF-8 characters maximum for the name and the content of your custom fields)
Access: DATA > Fields
- Click on New custom field
- Enter the name, and the type (date or text)
- Click "Ok".
The custom field is ready to be used and will appear in the mapping process when importing new contacts.
Reorder the fields
You may reorder your fields at will if need be. Reordering your custom fields will also reorder them on the subscription form.
To reorder your field, display the custom fields list by going to DATA > Fields.
Use the arrows on the left of a field to move it up or down.
Field fulfillment rate
Splio can display the fulfillment rate for each field in your contacts' database.
You can calculate the field fulfillment rate on demand. To do so, click the button "Recalculate" in the fields menu (DATA > Fields). Once the button is clicked, your database will either be calculated right away or be put in queue.
You can request a recount once every 3 hours.
While your database is being recounted, you can proceed to other tasks and come back later. All calculations are done in the background, and will not affect your campaigns from being sent properly.
