To create an audience, click on the button ‘create’ on the top right corner.
You will then have a menu with three options available: dynamic query, static list of users and dynamic query (advanced mode).
Below you will see the detail of each type of audiences you can create on the platform.
First enter a name for your audience (i.e users who are opted in for push notifications)
Then select your conditions. You have the option to have two different operators for your audience:
'All' or 'Any'.
If you use ‘all’ as the operator for your segment, you will create an audience group in which all of the conditions must be met.
Whereas if you select ‘any’, you will have a group in which only one of the conditions has to be met for the contacts to fit the requirements.
2.Static list of users
You can also import contacts from any CRM or source outside of the platform as long as the format of the file is correct (see description in the platform).
You must also select the matching field which will be the unique key used to distinguish unique contacts between each others and therefore to avoid campaigns being sent twice to the same user if a user is present twice in the database.
The matching field can be the ID, phone number or email address.
3.Dynamic query (advanced mode)
For the dynamic query feature, the coding language which will be used is MongoDB.
If you want to do advanced segmentation using this feature, please reach out to your contact at Splio.
