Campaign statistics
The default tab, "about", displays the basics.
In the "campaign summary" tab, information is summarized in sections.
When campaign category or operation code were not set, they are greyed out.
Schedule: For non-automatic campaigns, start and end times are shown as soon as the campaign is executed. For automatic campaigns, cycle is shown.
Population: all filters and groups used in the campaign are listed here.
Options: displays special options set for the campaign, e.g., replay at sendout.
Actions: the final section lists all actions. By clicking an action you can go directly to action statistics. The eye button (marked red) allows you to hide and show action details.
Email report
In the "email report" tab, you can see the KPIs for the campaign divided in sections. In each section you can use the buttons at the top right to present the data as bar or pie charts.
Delivery
Clicking the action name will bring you to the statistics per action.
Reactivity
Complaints and unsubscriptions: counts how many times recipients decided to unsubscribe or report your message as spam.
The unsubscribe indicator displayed here reflects the number of clicks done on the unsubscribe link or on the "unsubscribe" button available with some email service providers.
When a contact uses both methods to unsubscribe, campaigns statistics will consider two unsubscriptions but the unsubscribers list will only contain one line.
Sales tracker: shows the sum total of all sales which were made using links in the email.
Email action statistics
To view the statistics of email campaigns and actions, go to SCENARIO > Campaigns.
Click the name of the campaign (marked green in the image) to access its statistics or the action (marked red) to view the statistics per action.
About
The first tab, "about", summarizes the information about the email action:
The link to parent campaign takes you back to the campaign statistics (see above).
It also contains the preview of the email action (only the summary is shown below, not the actual preview).
You can use the indicated link to open the design in the Designer module.
Targeting summary
The "targeting summary" tab lists the targets and exclusion for this particular action.
Global statistics
"Global statistics" present the global KPIs for the selected email action. These data are similar to the statistics from the email report above but are presented for a single action, not for a campaign.
Most sections can be displayed as bar charts or pie charts, some also offer the ability to break down the results by mobile device type.
The delivery statistics correspond to the delivery section in the email report, including the queued emails (which are waiting to be sent), successfully delivered, the randomly selected controls, and bounces.
In reactivity, numbers of openings and clicks are contrasted with the number of unique recipients who opened the message and clicked the link. The data in the image are presented with repartition into mobile and stationary device types.
Complaints & unsubs displays the number of users who complained of the message as spam and who unsubscribed.
Sales tracker shows the sum total of all sales which were made using links in the email as part of the action.
Delivery
This tab presents email delivery statistics graphically.
The metrics for delivery state, rate, and bounces are presented together.
Delivery state shows the results of delivery for all mails in the form of a pie chart. All results are shown, including clicks and bounces.
Delivery rate measures successfully delivered vs. undelivered messages.
Bounce rates show how the undelivered emails were classified.
Queue evolution shows how the email queue showed over time.
This graphic shows the queue evolution and the speed at which the messages were sent. You can compare it with the reactivity over time chart to see which sending time works best.
Delivery by domain shows the openings and bounces (soft and hard) broken down by domain.
Use the "Extract" button to download the numerical data for this chart in CSV format.
Reactivity
Openers, Clickers and Unsubscription rates
The metrics take the form of percentages shown on pie charts.
Global reactivity
Global reactivity offers a quick preview of the number of openings vs. the number of openers (i.e., unique openings) and clicks vs. clickers.
Global reactivity over time
This opening and clicks per hour chart which presents the evolution of contacts' reactivity over time.
In the example below, most clicks and opening happened in the first 2 hours of the sending (H+2), then, there is another peak starting 12 hours after the sending.
Openers' devices
This pie chart displays the mobile devices used by openers broken down by operating systems and mobile brands (Apple iOS, Android, other types of phones).
More than 15 Operating Systems are currently being recognized, including Bada, Blackberry, and Symbian.
Openers' email agents
The email agents pie chart displays the mobile vs. PC breakdown and focuses in more detail on the type of webmail or email client software used by PC/Mac users.
This chart is especially useful when you need to determine the priority of webmail and email software supported by your email actions.
Unsubscriptions and Spam complaints
The number of unsubscribers and Spam complaints is shown along with the top reason for unsubscription.
Note that the reasons are available only when using the Splio unsubscription form. The following reasons are recognized:
- I am not interested anymore
- I receive too many messages
- I can't read the messages
- I never asked to subscribe
- Other
The "List-Unsubscribe" reason means that the unsubscription process was handled by a mailing service provider. In such cases, a button with a link is added by Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail in the user interface.
Heatmap and reactivity per link
This tab shows all clicks per link along with the number of generated purchases and their turnover. You can switch between its two views by clicking "Heatmap" or "Links".
The heatmap presents all clickable areas in the email design as hot and cold spots. It can present the map with regard to the number of clicks or turnover. You can also hide the areas which scored 0.
The links view displays all clickable URLs in the email in a table, with the number of clicks, turnover, and number of generated purchases. It also gives the names and categories for links where present.
Geographic reactivity
This graph places the location of each clicker at the time of clicking on the world map.
The map can be zoomed in or out to get more precise locations.
Legend:
- Colored spots: small to large clusters of clickers
- Blue pin with an envelope: a single clicker
While the origin of most clicks is accurate, the location may sometimes be approximate or off. This is because the location is evaluated based on the IP address of the clicker, which may sometimes be a few miles off.
Sales
This tab presents data gathered with the Sales Tracker.
In this tab, you can view the sales generated by your action. The number of transactions, turnover, and purchases per hour during the first 7 days after sending. The metrics are updated as new information is being gathered.
Per population statistics
Only available for single-action campaigns.
With the statistics per population feature you can calculate the statistics for the action with regard to any population segment within the global list of recipients.
This data breakdown is available anytime after the mail has been sent.
