Splio provides you with a powerful shortcut to use the recipients of and email action as targets for a new campaign.
This guide will show you how to target those recipients who have clicked certain links.
Begin by going to SCENARIO > Campaigns. Open the campaign/action from which you want to do the export and go to “Reactivity per link”.
This screen shows, in the form of a heatmap, which links in the message received the most clicks. The “Links” button (indicated by a red arrow) switches the display to a list of links and back again.
Here you can see a complete list of links in the message with the number of clicks on each link. You can use it to make sure these are the links and the numbers you need.
Extraction of recipients
Click the download button in the top bar and select “Extract recipients” from the menu.
Click “Add criteria” to select which of the recipients of the original campaign you want to target.
Filter by clicks
Go to “Filter by clicks”. Here you can find all the links you saw in the heatmap before. For each link you can set a “has clicked” or a “has not clicked” condition. Only the recipients who meet these conditions will be included.
Confirm by clicking the “Select” button.
Option to remove criteria
The criteria you defined are presented for review. You can remove a criterion by clicking the “X” or clear all with the “Remove criteria” button.
Save as a group
Make sure the “Save as a Group” option is selected and click the “Download” button at the bottom of the screen.
This creates a group named after the original campaign and the date of creation. This group will contain the addresses you selected.
The available criteria for extraction includes the majority of categories for which statistics are collected. Some of them are available in more than one place (e.g., openers), just as they can be found in more than one stats table.
These options allow you to target specific recipient categories, e.g., openers or clickers.
Filter by status
Here you can target by the recipient status, e.g., only the recipients to whom the message was successfully delivered.
With reactions you gain the ability to target buyers, that is, recipients who not only clicked on a link but also followed up with a purchase.
You can use the “count recipients” option to calculate how many targets will be placed in the extracted group. This allows you to verify if the size of the exported group is as you expected.
