Splio Mobile Wallets allows you to integrate “Passes” into your customers' mobiles and turn them into a new digital touchpoint, without having to install an app.
A “Pass” can take different forms, depending on the relevant use cases for your customers: a membership or loyalty card, a coupon, an invitation, a ticket, a gift card, etc.
The Pass is added on the phone in the Mobile Wallets applications such as Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Here is a blog post explaining a few misconceptions about Mobile Wallets.
General Process and challenges
To add the “Pass” to their mobile, end users (your customer) just need to click on a link they can get by email, SMS, on your website, by QR-code scan or even through NFC.
When created, the Pass is associated to a unique user identifier that needs to be stable over time.
Based on this identifier, the “Pass” can be updated automatically from data updates.
To get the most out of our solution, and maximize the engagement of your customers (users), there are two main challenges:
![]() |
1/ Distribution: the Pass must be distributed through as many channels as possible, as soon as possible in your customer lifecycle, and as automated as possible. We provide you with everything necessary to do this (Read more on "Are you ready to start distributing your Passes?") |
![]() |
2/ Updates and notifications: they must be as personalized and automated as possible. They are done by automatic triggers based on data synchronization and through campaigns managed using the admin interface provided. (Read more on "Using Splio Mobile Wallets") |
It is recommended to start distribution as soon as possible, without necessarily waiting for the implementation of data synchronization in a real iterative process.
Our Project and Customer Success teams support you to build the most effective distribution strategy and then iterate with you taking into account your context and your business challenges.
We tend to re-use as much as possible what is already implemented on your side (independently from our solution), and we provide you with examples, implementation guides as well as plug-and-play components validated by our teams to save time and cost, and maximize quality.
