When configuring your account in Splio Referral, there are a few tips you should keep in mind.
Parameters > preferences
If you wish to set up a multi-language campaign, first make sure you select the needed language flags in parameters > preferences > languages. After, when creating your campaign, you'll find the selected languages in the campaign language dropdown that will allow you to switch to one language to the other inside the same campaign.
You will find five languages available: English, French, Spanish, German and Italian.
Once you start building a campaign using a language not selected, you cannot go back and add the language after. It won't work. Instead, you shall ensure that the languages have been selected prior in the settings before starting a new campaign from scratch.
In the design, you have the option to add three types of files (logo, background or favourite icon). Accepted formats are JPG, PNG and GIF while max size is 5 MB.
When entering the colour(s) in the hexadecimal field, you will be able to see the preview in real time.
Amount of your average cart: if you cannot retrieve the value from the POS or e-shop you shall enter an average value, which will be used to display the turnover amount in the dashboard's sections
Domain and sender: first, you need to enter the sender's name and email, which your customer will see when they receive the offer. Then, you must configure a new domain (DNS, SPF and DKIM) on Mailjet and not Splio.
Limiting/capping the number of promo codes: a new functionality has been activated to allow our customers to set a limit to the number of promo codes sent to a referrer. Therefore, even though the active friend makes a purchase using the promo code, the referrer won't be notified and won't receive the promo code as a reward either.
For Splio marketing automation users only. We have developed a connector to synchronize your lists from Splio Referral to Splio.

Here you shall enter the unique key of your database, which can be either the email address, the phone number or a custom ID (card code). This will be used to ensure that no referrals are duplicated and to match the correct information when logging-in.
Then we need the first name and last name of the your clients to be able to personalize the referral email they will send to their friends from the platform.
