In Splio Referral you can upload your promo codes using two methods:
1. By generating codes
If you choose this option, you are asking Splio Referral to auto-generate codes for you in case you don't have any yourself already.
The format will be the one defined in the "main info" of your campaign. Therefore, if you have selected EAN 13, the generation mode will be set to EAN 13 by default. You can personalize the codes by adding alphanumeric values that will appear before the codes. Only one promo code is allowed per campaign: once you validate it, you can’t change it. Otherwise, you need to create a new campaign.
2. By importing codes
If you already have your own codes, you can also import them easily uploading a CSV file from the interface.
Please note that whether you are uploading your codes manually or generating them automatically, you will need to do it both from the "referrer codes" and the "new customer codes" tabs.
Points worth highlighting in both sections:
- The code sent date is when the promo code is shared to the referrer.
- The code burnt date is when the referrer/active friend has made a purchase.
- The remind date is the date the automatic reminder will be sent in the case of a code non being burnt
