It is typical of stores in China to display a QR code for their customers to scan and follow their Official Accounts on WeChat. With the "WeChat QR code" option in Splio you can now do it too. All you have to do is create the code with Splio and download it. You can then print it to show it in your store or put it up on your website, so that all customers who scan it can go on your Official Account and follow your brand.
To generate a new code, go to the "My QR code" tab, as shown below, and click on the "+New QR" button:
In the General settings section, provide names for the code and the scene. The name identifies the code in all lists and statistics. The "scene" value is used to describe where the QR code was made available to prospective contacts.
The type and the name of the Official Account are fixed fields.
You also need to choose a category for your code in the Scenario section. If you type a name of a category that does not yet exist, you can create a new one
All QR codes have the "Follow OA" goal. It means that scanning the code allows any WeChat user to become your follower.
Click the green "Create" button in the lower right corner of the screen to finish the process.
To download a QR code, find the code you need in the list and click on the download button (indicated by a red square in the image below).
It will download the code as a PNG file. You can print it or incorporate it into a poster or a website. Scanning it will allow your customers to become followers on WeChat and your loyalty program in Splio.
